We are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
We are also open on all public holidays, even if the holiday falls on a Monday.

The museum is closed on December 24 and December 31. 

Here is some important information to help you plan your visit:

Allow plenty of time: our exhibition covers more than 6,000 m². You should plan at least two hours for a tour. Our restaurant and the games and hands-on activities invite you to spend a whole day with your family on a trip around the world in the museum.

All visitor facilities in our museum building are barrier-free.

Dogs/pets: Please understand that for conservation reasons, dogs/pets are not allowed in the exhibition. We have set up a dog rest area outside for your four-legged friends.

Photography: The exhibition offers many great photo opportunities. Photography is permitted for private use only. Drones are not allowed anywhere on the museum grounds.

Order or give away shop articles or admission tickets for the whole world of mobile travelling via our new web shop! Other items from our museum shop such as books, vouchers, fun and useful items for travelling, outdoor, caravanning and camping are still available in our shop on site. For your four-legged friend we have set up an outdoor dog rest area with a sun awning and water bowl. Please understand that, for conservation reasons, dogs/pets are not allowed in the exhibition.
